Eastern Europe comes to the Hudson Valley.

... the more classical Eastern European group Madarka founded by Harry Sweet that garnered much praise from the public .

Baron Corso von Habsburg, food and wine critic

I love Madarka Band! One of my favourite bands

Youko (owner of Goman Kudasai)

Last night was amazing! Every seat filled for Madárka . Thanks everyone for coming out and making this such a success!!

-- Nadia's Hungarian Buffet

Great time at Nadia's in Hurleyville last night . The Pop-up Gypsy Band (our old name) was delightful and it was good to see Harry Sweet doing the Eastern European music he loves so much. An added plus was Mike Aiese playing bass.

-- Antoine Magliano, WJFF radio

Thank you for a sublime evening in your musical company!! Please put me on your mailing list so I can see you folks play wherever you go.

I of course like this band, but I feel like I am cheating on Ahavaraba

Seamlessly combining Jewish, Gypsy and other (mostly) Eastern European our goal is to get everybody on the floor dancing.
Hopefully with a bottle balanced on your head, or better yet, on your feet.

Opa!
